The 13th World Conference on Women’s Studies

A 13-year journey of advancing conversations on gender equality.

The World Conference on Women’s Studies 2027 will bring the global community to Siem Reap, Cambodia — continuing a 13-year journey of advancing conversations on gender equality and women’s issues.

Building on the momentum of WCWS 2026 in Chiang Mai, the 2027 conference focuses on strengthening connections across disciplines and regions while creating space for new voices and perspectives.

Academics, activists, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners will come together to share ideas, address existing gaps, and explore practical ways to drive change. Join us as we connect, learn from one another, and work towards more inclusive and equitable societies.

— Our Purpose

Connecting knowledge with action.

The 13th World Conference on Women’s Studies is built to create a space where voices from different backgrounds, fields, and parts of the world are heard and valued.

By encouraging honest dialogue and collaboration across regions and disciplines, the conference aims to support more inclusive, fair, and resilient communities and keep the global conversation on gender justice moving forward.
